ABOUT ME
I'm Caithlin, a qualified Paediatric Speech Pathologist with over 14 years of experience. I have worked with children since completing my Bachelor of Speech Pathology at LaTrobe University, Bundoora. My background includes collaborating in teams within early intervention services and a range of mainstream primary schools, which has reinforced my belief in the importance of partnership with both parents and other professionals.
As a proud ADHDer, I bring both professional and lived experience to my work. I strongly believe that children need to feel confident in who they are naturally in order to communicate effectively. My focus is on empowering children to express their individuality and communicate their needs with confidence.
I love collaborating with families to understand their unique interests and skills, which allows me to support their communication skills development in a practical, fun, and functional way. I believe that working together with families is essential for creating lasting change.
Outside of work I love spending time with my fur babies at home or taking a break in nature to explore or go hiking with friends. I'm often reading, and am a member of the local bookclub. I love learning new things and my next hobby is always around the corner!
ABOUT SPEECH CONNECT
I created Speech Connect as a means of providing the speech therapy I believe in. I work in collaboration with parents and other professionals supporting your child, such as teachers, to enhance their communication skills development and help them reach their potential.
Sessions can take place in the clinic, at home, in kinder/school, or online. Speech pathology services include assessments and therapy sessions designed to help your child:

- play and communicate better with peers
- speak clearly
- speak fluently
My goal is to provide high-quality and flexible speech pathology services that can accommodate a range of different lifestyles and schedules.
